Cloud expanding services in wipes, towlettes with Multi-Pack purchase
Cloud Packaging Solutions’ recent purchase of Multi-Pack is broadening its contract packaging capabilities within the household cleaning-products industry.
“The combination of Multi-Pack and Cloud through its subsidiary Span Packaging Services will provide the marketplace a single source for contract packaging all disposable towelette and wipe products” says Michael Kryshak Multi-Pack president.
Span Packaging Services Greenville SC is Cloud’s full-service contract manufacturer and packaging operation. It serves the OTC personal care health and beauty pharmaceutical and household product industries.
Kryshak explains that Multi-Pack makes towelettes wipes and the containers they are packaged in. “The bulk of our business is retail” he says.
Cloud based in Des Plaines IL designs and manufactures high-speed packaging equipment developing solutions for packaging machinery based on continuous-motion horizontal form/fill/seal (HFFS) technology. Kryshak says these capabilities will benefit Multi-Pack and its customers.
“Cloud is already where our next step was because everyone who has a canister wants a single pack” Kryshak says. “Cloud has engineering expertise. As markets mature those that survive are those who do it quicker better. We are leveraging their expertise in high-speed equipment manufacturing which is going to have some long-term benefits.”
Kevin Fritzmeyer president of Cloud adds “We are excited about Multi-Pack due to its outstanding customer base and history of growth through product innovation.”
Multi-Pack based in Milwaukee WI provides packaging services for leading consumer product manufacturers in the consumer industrial medical and pet care markets. Multi-Pack designs manufactures and converts paper laminate nonwoven and other textile fabrics into disposable wet and dry towelettes and wipes. These products are then filled into a broad range of packages.
