Spee-Dee® Packaging Machinery is a provider of technologically superior dry fill packaging solutions.
Spee-Dee’s core business is to supply filling equipment for dry materials to the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. The primary emphasis is on consumer sizes; however, Spee-Dee has addressed fill weights as large as 50 pounds for bulk ingredient packages.
The two primary equipment lines manufactured by Spee-Dee are the Volumetric Cup Filler and the Servo Digitronic® Auger Filler.
Cup fillers are used to fill free flowing product that maintains consistent density. Typical products include popcorn, rice, nuts, dehydrated vegetables, coffee beans, candy, etc.
Auger fillers are used to dispense free flowing and non-free flowing powders. Typical products are spices, baking mixes, drink mixes, soup bases, sugar, etc. Augers are also volumetric devices, so density must remain consistent.
