As part of Klöckner Pentaplast Group’s €45.6 Mio investment in its 2013 and 2014 expansion plans, new production capacity recently went online in Great Britain, Argentina, and Brazil, making it the only rigid film solutions producer with manufacturing sites located on four continents – Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
Klöckner Pentaplast, global pharmaceutical and consumer packaging, printing, and specialty plastic film solutions provider, has continued on its growth track in the financial year 2012/2013 ending September 30, 2013, increasing net sales by 2% from €1,167 Mio. to €1,191 Mio.
The Klöckner Pentaplast Group has added to its global production capacity in Asia, the Americas, and Europe, and is investing €45.6 Mio as part of its 2013 and 2014 expansion plans, which include facilities in Cotia, Brazil; Suzhou, China; Newport/Crumlin, Great Britain; and Santo Tirso, Portugal.
Klöckner Pentaplast’s line of SmartCycle post-consumer recycled (PCR) content polyester films produced in North America has been granted a “Certificate of Verification” by NSF International, an independent, third party, not-for-profit organization that verified the recycled content claims of the line.
The Klöckner Pentaplast Group has announced that it will add to its global production capacity in Asia, the Americas, and Europe, investing $51.8 million USD (€39.6 Mio) for this expansion which includes facilities in Suzhou, China; Cotia, Brazil; and Santo Tirso, Portugal--137 employees will be added worldwide.
