BASF (Wyandotte, MI) has introduced foam end caps made from the company's Neopolen®*P 1822B expanded PP beads. They employ a "living hinge," formed in-line of the same material, for a secure fit around the corners of the product.
BASF (Wyandotte, MI) has formulated a new grade of expanded PP beads for use in the fabrication of molded foam products. Neopolen®P P2024B is available in black and offers a nominal bulk density of 22 g/L, making it suitable for lightweight returnable automotive and industrial dunnage.
