PDC leads the industry in shrink sleeve labeling technology. Our mission: to engineer, build and install the most robust, and most efficient, shrink sleeve labeling systems, as well as tamper evident banding equipment and high-performing shrink tunnels, for market-leading companies worldwide.

PDC offers consumer products companies, and leading contract packers, a Total Sleeving Solution. Programs begin with package analysis and material recommendations, followed by testing and prototyping, system layout and integration, and documentation. PDC’s technical support team has been recognized by some of the most prominent names in consumer products. (Visit www.pdc-corp.com/customers to read 24 of their comments!)

PDC is known worldwide for its full body shrink sleeve labelers, which conform to every container curve, enabling decoration of the widest range of shapes – from top to bottom and 360 degrees. Our sister company, PDC Europe, headquartered in Montdidier, France, manufactures similar systems, as well as stretch sleeve applicators.

Our Manufacturing Philosophy is Unique -and Uniquely Suited to Highest Quality Packaging Performance: PDC's idea of "total vertical integration" is the opposite of the “outsourcing” that is so common today. And it yields significant advantages for customers, from the first project discussions through successful start-up. We have longstanding relationships with every major raw stock and resin supplier, and a broad, deep understanding of film chemistry and printing. We make certain container designs are shrink-friendly, and compatible with the line speeds customers require.

All manufacturing is in-house, using techniques and technologies that have made PDC systems synonymous with quality, worldwide. Key among them: a unique blade configuration used in PDC shrink sleeve and banding systems. This rugged, heavy-service assembly is unique in its toughness and durability, and is exclusive to PDC. Unlike the competition’s brittle, tiny, spinning blades that dull quickly, PDC’s blade assemblies are ruggedly built to deliver clean cuts for months. In addition, PDC blades can be re-sharpened three times, and many are double-sided and reversible, so a single set provides substantial added value, in both life cycle cost, and the downtime that is avoided.

If a customer has a rush project, PDC is uniquely capable to deliver on time. Every PDC employee embraces PDC’s "customers first" ideal, and understands that their willingness to go the extra mile is one of our most important attributes. It's also a major reason that 55% of all PDC projects are for repeat customers.

Customers claim that PDC manufactures the toughest machines on the market. That’s an advantage you can count on. And so is the fact that we machine all components in Connecticut, and use off-the-shelf, readily available replacement parts.

As it has been since 1968, we are committed to delivering the responsiveness, quality, and agility you need to execute successful rollouts, produce high volumes on schedule, and maintain your competitive advantage.
