MARQ Packaging
MARQ Packaging Systems, Inc.
In 1965, one man’s vision changed from a dream to a reality for company founder and CEO, Ted Marquis Sr. With the help of 15 employees and overwhelming support from his family, Packaging Systems was formed which later became known as MARQ Packaging Systems, a leader in innovative and technologically advanced packaging equipment. The main core of the new packaging company was a top and bottom stapling case sealer, known as the MARQ XI, which Ted designed with the help of his one engineer, who was also the lead assembly man, welder and painter. Those humble beginnings have grown to include (3) 50,000 sq ft+ buildings that house sales, engineering, fabrication and assembly on over 10 acres located in beautiful Yakima, WA, the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
MARQ Packaging Systems, Inc. has been pushing the limits of packaging innovation since 1965. Each of our machines, in our full line of more than 30 machines, is custom built to suit our customers needs. Our equipment runs the full range from semi-automatic to the pioneering “QC” quick size changeover that is accomplished without tools in less than 60 seconds. From semi-automatic to random, MARQ Packaging has the machine to meet your needs and help you meet your production requirements.
Here at MARQ we are dedicated to our customers and customer service, if you need parts for your machines, or if on the off chance you’re having issues, we listen and promptly act accordingly. With an in-house parts department we are able to quickly process and ship your parts, usually in the same day. Every machine is built to withstand vigorous 24/7/365 operation in some of the harshest operating conditions possible. All machines have been specially engineered to be the best piece of equipment available. Many of our machines that were built 15-20 years ago are still running strong, without showing any signs of slowing down. For these reason we are proud to say “Built MARQ Tough.” Our equipment list includes: Case Erectors, Uniform & Random Case Sealers, Product Settlers & Sealers, Trayformers, and the newest in our line of machines, our Bliss Former.
