Beverage Roundtable: It's good for you!

Watch three designer Guest Critics review three packages that promote healthy product attributes. Then scroll down for designer and product details and the comment thread.

Our expert Guest Critics Sarah Williams of Beardwood & Co. Pamela Long of Little Big Brands and Andrew Almeter of Imagemme, review three compelling health-and-wellness drinks:

  • Zico Pure Premium Coconut Water uses bold, modern graphics and full-body shrink labeling in a sports-drink counteroffensive.
  • Something Natural all-natural flavored sparkling water takes flight with a striking, shaped blue bottle for an elegant product pitch.
  • Kombucha Wonder Drink sparkling, fermented drink with organic teas and flavors uses labeling cues that reaches back through time.

Which design works best? Do you agree with our Guest Critics? Join the conversation... scroll down and leave a comment. We'll meet you there.

Beverage Roundtable is the show where the experts go shopping, then meet-up for a live video discussion of the packages they chose.

For each episode, package design experts — Guest Critics —choose a beverage package that illustrates a theme. Next, the group meets with show host Bob Sperber to discuss the pros and cons of each package, from format and graphics to business strategy.

Tune in! Then join in the conversation in the comments thread at the bottom of each episode's homepage. And: Keep drinking.

These three designers were fun to talk to! They definitely knew about newer, "fresher" design aspects. Stay tuned for a little "behind the scenes" debate coming soon!

It sounds like something I would drink and recomend to others. As you said the packaging is great. When I buy this I I will display the bottle on my kitchen counter. I will found out where it is available and purchase some to try todaY. Sounds like a great product.
