Keith managed to report on two companies that I also visited and was really impressed with. As Keith points out, the robots offered Universal Robots (www.universal-robots.com) and Rethink Robotics (www.rethinkrobotics.com) have taken a new, innovative, and PRACTICAL approach to robots. I'm looking forward to seeing where their robots wind up. They really should do well in a number of new applications. Even a friend of mine used to using minimum wage laborers for contract packaging ran the numbers. His eyes got REALLY wide.

I agree with Kieth and Andy that these robots are a game changer. Low price, no cage, ease of programming, portability, What's not to like? I saw them Monday morning and emailed a client Monday night advising him to buy one of each. I told him not to worry about a specific application, once he saw them, he would find a dozen apps for each. And if he couldn't. I would. John Henry
