TricorBraun offers a line of clarified PP injection/stretch blow-molded
bottles that combine the clarity and sheen of PET with a moisture vapor
transmission rate 14 times that of PET and 2½ times that of HDPE.
During blow molding, the material for these CPP-ISBM bottles is oriented biaxially. The bottles are typically lighter weight than their PET counterparts, which offers source reduction opportunities for manufacturers. In addition, the base resin requires less energy to mold.
