Peruvian upstart cola-maker Ajegroup takes on Coke and Pepsi in Mexico...

has grabbed 5 percent of Mexico's soft-drink trade, a market Snapdata International estimates at $6.5 billion, forcing Coke and PepsiCo Inc. to lower prices. A 3.3-liter container of Big Cola brand sells for as little as 86 cents. "Half the population of Mexico is poor," Ajegroup spokesman Alfredo Paredes said.
