Retailers support stronger penalties for theft, counterfeiting

A variety of retailer representatives, including members of the Food Marketing Institute and Grocery Manufacturers of America, testified in Congress March 18, pushing for legislation that would make theft and counterfeiting by organized gangs a federal felony.
