Zed Industries (Vandalia, OH) has developed what it claims is a 100% biodegradable skin package. The new package serves as an alternative to traditional skin packaging, as well as blister or clamshell packaging.
Brown & Williamson, Louisville, KY, heightens smokers awareness of filtered Pall Mall cigarettes through a 60-count display box of lighters that mimics a “hard box,” complete with a flip-top lid. The 6 3/8’’ x 5’’ x 8’’ box contains three plastic trays that hold 20 each of red, blue and green lighters. The trays rest upon a microflute corrugated platform that positions them at the top of the box.
The graphics design for the much anticipated mid-November debut of Microsoft's Xbox game console strikes a balance for hard-core gamers and mainstream consumers. After soliciting concepts from several firms, Redmond, WA-based Microsoft awarded the design work to SBI and Company (Salt Lake City, UT).
