M.A. Hanna Color (Suwanee, GA) has introduced a new line of colorant systems called ComPETe(TM). The new systems-pellets, flakes or liquid color-are designed to improve precision color for PET resins used in packaging applications and are said to provide improvement in color consistency for blow- and stretch/blow-molding processes.

Used for label combinations, MACtac (Stow, OH) has introduced Dual-Write(TM) DW 2141. It's constructed of a premium 50# white uncoated multi-print facesheet suitable for high-contrast laser, ink-jet and flexo processes, a specially formulated acrylic emulsion adhesive, and a 3.2 SCK white liner.
Model NOL linear unscrambler is New England Machinery's (Bradenton, FL) newest design for delivering rigid plastic conveyors from random bulk supply to continuous-motion conveyors at speeds to 650 containers/min, depending on container size.
The SP Filler net weight filling machines from Lakewood Manufacturing (Holland, MI) are designed for bulk filling of loose, flowing product such as dried fruit, confectionery items and pet treats into boxes, bags and other containers.

The Linapal line portal (gantry) robot from Krones (Franklin, WI) handles loads of up to one ton at speeds to 360 cycles/hr. Applications include palletizing and depalletizing, crate/carton packing and unpacking, removal of inverted trays or layer pads, and order picking.
