Overwrappers

Arpac's (Schiller Park, IL) Model BPTW-60 shrink wrap system overwraps 60 trays/min using either plain or print-registered PE film. It uses an overwrap flight bar system and single sheets of film cut by a rotary knife.

Propafilm CK 140 from ICI Films (Chicago, IL) is a biaxially oriented PP film with good moisture, gas and flavor barriers. FDA approved for direct food contact, it is suited for dry mixes, powders, spices, candies, coffee, tea, medical device overwraps or any product requiring an anti-static surface.
