Rockwell Automation (Milwaukee, WI) has introduced the Allen-Bradley Zero-Force(TM) Touch Button line of operator interface devices. According to the company, this is the first interface device of its type to incorporate field-effect sensing with microprocessor technology.

PowerPanel(TM) from CTC Parker Automation (Milford, OH) is a PC-based control and HMI solution for OEM machine builders. The flat-panel monitor and remote PC box are bundled with CTC's Interact HMI software.

The Servo II vf/f/s machine from Hayssen (Duncan, SC) uses servo motors that withstand washdowns. Operates at speeds to 110 bags/min. An Allen-Bradley 5/04 control system and PanelView 900 touchscreen operator interface allow storage of up to 100 user-defined programs.
