Abbott bar codes hospital injectables

Abbott Laboratories, Abbott Park, IL, reported late in March that it had completed its initiative to apply unit-of-use bar codes to all of its hospital injectable pharmaceuticals and intravenous solutions.

Launched in the fourth quarter of 2002, göt 2b spa facial scrub is now making its way to drug stores and mass merchandisers nationwide. Rather than using a plastic bottle, the predictable packaging format for most cosmetics and beauty aids, Advanced Research Laboratories selected a spouted, reclosable, stand-up pouch.
