Bob Williams appointed VP of sales and marketing at Axon

Poised to launch an extensive series of new products and packaging technology innovations, Axon, powered by Pro Mach, has announced that packaging industry veteran Bob Williams has joined the division as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

During his nearly 20-year career in the packaging industry Williams has held senior level management and sales and marketing positions with such firms as SWF Companies and GD Package Machinery, Inc.  A graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point, he holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering.

“Bob Williams brings to Axon a superior skill set in marketing innovation to the packaging industry,” said Brad Wegner, Vice President and General Manager, Axon. “Pro Mach personnel have worked with Bob on various PMMI committees for years and are impressed with his integrity, knowledge, and energy. Bob is a great addition to Axon’s team.”

“Everyone who knows me understands that I have a passion for new technology, and that I bring a fiercely competitive spirit to sales. They also know that I believe you must be honest and straight-forward with customers and colleagues,” Williams said. “Axon’s culture, its customer base here and in Latin America, and its remarkable level of product innovations provided both a career opportunity and a personal compatibility that I am truly excited about.”
