Beckhoff Automation opened a subsidiary in Brazil. Together with its distribution partners in Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile, Beckhoff now represents four countries in South America.

Beckhoff Automação Industrial Ltda. is based in São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. The sales network will be further expanded through additional branches and system integrators in strategic locations.
"In Brazil, Beckhoff products are already widely used in numerous applications. Initially, we will concentrate on the machine building sector," said Marcos Giorjiani, managing director of the new Beckhoff subsidiary.
