New Necosort plastic bottle unscramblers from John R. Nalbach (Cicero, IL) accommodates most containers, including tapered and hourglass ovals, rectangulars and straight-sided rounds.

A new design is based on clamped-in chutes for simplified changeover. Since the number of container-sorting chutes is proportional to bottle height, production rates for each bottle type are maximized while keeping rotational speeds low.
