Supplier news: Domestic acquisitions, agreements
Illinois Tool Works Inc. (Glenview, IL) and Trident Intl. Inc. (Brookfield, CT) have announced a definitive merger agreement under which ITW will acquire Trident for about $115.5 million.
Trident will continue to operate under that name. ITW also has acquired Pillar Technologies (Hartland WI) for an undisclosed price making Pillar a div. of ITW.
