Lantech Inc: Self-threading wrapper
The new SW-5000 shrink-wrapping machine from Lantech features the industry’s first Self-Threader® forming head. Forming head design delivers a perfectly centered lap seal without set-up adjustment, and changes over in seconds with its unique quick-disconnect feature.
Operating at speeds to 75 packages/min the high-output machine is ideal for products including food pharmaceuticals personal care/cosmetics DVDs video games and books. Designed to require zero maintenance the SW-5000 is said to help reduce cost with its use of flat film and elimination of film scrap. Features include static emitter and optional hot block to close the lap seal. Accepts packages ranging in size from 3”Lx1 1¼2”Wx 1¼8”H to 40”Lx15”Wx6”H and functions well in both intermittent and continuous motion.
