Color 'caps' new jars for detergent capsules
A striking new PET jar, designed and blow-molded by RPC Containers Blackburn, is now serving up capsules of Persil liquid laundry detergent for Lever Fabergé, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, England.
The three promotional jars are molded in tints to correspond to the Persil varieties: green for biological blue for non-biological and purple for Colour Care. The 100-mm screw caps of polypropylene are molded in colors to match the jars and are supplied by RPC Containers Halstead.
Designed to be reusable storage jars the containers are finished with oval-shaped front and back labels that are applied at the blow molder. The jar’s base is designed to permit stacking of the containers.
“We wanted an outstanding design that would attract attention whilst still being user-friendly” states Ash Tailor corporate relations manager for Lever Fabergé. “RPC’s ability to design and manufacture this within the required timescale proves its commitment to the project.”
