Adhesives

H.B. Fuller (St. Paul, MN) introduces new adhesives for medical device packaging that contain no natural latex or solvents. SolarCure(TM) radiation-curable and hot melt polyester-based p-s adhesives may be roll-coated or pattern-applied (either gravure or screen-printed).

Said to perform similarly to water-based natural latex adhesives but at improved line speeds without requiring water evaporation. Applications include tapes wound care patches and other medical devices that adhere to the skin.
