New graphics appear on boxes of Hostess Cup Cakes Twinkies Ding Dongs Ho Hos Suzy Qs and Mini Muffins products.

The 15-pt SBS box materials are supplied by International Paper and Georgia-Pacific and converted by Malnove and Rock Tenn. Some printing is done in gravure and some is offset lithography. The new boxes incorporate six or seven colors depending on the product variety. Graphics are designed by S.W. Baker Associates.

Introduced in select markets last summer the new packaging fuses Hostess’ traditional colors with updated product photography and contemporary graphics. Hostess marketing director Kevin Kaul comments “The fresh look of the new package design energizes our iconic products while appealing to the nostalgic value of the Hostess brand.” —Judy Rice
