Pechiney Plastic Packaging: Bone-in shrink bags
Pechiney Plastic Packaging unveils its next generation ClearShield™ high-barrier bone-in shrink bag for fresh beef and pork. This product provides total perimeter puncture resistance, even in the sealing area.
The proprietary coextrusion technology results in a bone-in bag that uses no patches or additional lamination layer. This eliminates the job of orienting the cut of meat to the patch or lamination. The toughness reduces leaker rates by as much as 15% and eliminates post-shipping leakers company says. Product also offers oxygen- and moisture-barrier protection extending the shelf life of meat products.
