The Hartness HERO system for the digital video recording of production errors has been improved. It is equipped with an operating system that the company says is so simple to use that an operator can learn all control functions, without instruction, in minutes.

The monitor for the error recorder displays all inputs and the color control bar beneath each image alerts the operator to any fault that may have occurred. Reviewing fault histories can be done in a couple of clicks and the easy-to-operate controls offer greater flexibility in playback direction playback speed frame-by-frame search and freeze frame.
