Eastman Chemical Co. (Kingsport, TN) is planning to build a polyester copolymer plant with about 30ꯠ metric tons annual capacity in Kuantan, Malaysia; Eastman will build a 120ꯠ-metric-ton PET plant at San Roque, Spain.
