For the ‘accidental’ tourist or on-the-go businessman?
Akin to a category-busting package format that stands out on-shelf against a display of other conventional items typically found at convenience stores, these packaged and pegged shirts are more notable for their unexpected appearance in this retail channel than for any packaging distinction. The particular retailer in Nagoya, Japan’s third-largest city, is a Circle K outlet that will gladly sell you the shirt off its rack for 1,869¥/USD $23.89. However, for the traveling businessman who may have spilled on his shirt, it’s a small price to pay for being presentable at an impending meeting.
