National Adhesives: Laminating adhesives
National Starch and Chemical (Bridgewater, NJ) offers two new specialty adhesives for laminating that improve hold-out when they are aerated. Aerobond™ 32-192A is said to minimize moisture and cost as well as permit high-productivity processing for laminators of paper products.
Aerobond 12-200A is a formulated dextrin adhesive for general purpose laminating where hold-out and foam stability are needed. Designed to be aerated and can be used without foaming. Manufacturer recommends nip roller application.
