InkSure Technologies has launched a new line of covert authentication solutions that address problems caused by counterfeit packages or unlawful product diversion.
The firm makes taggants (chemical markers) that are incorporated into standard inks or coatings. Applied via standard printing processes onto packaging materials or labels these taggants are scanned by readers that are also made by InkSure to provide definitive yes/no authentication. This machine-readable coded-ink technology introduces enhanced capabilities such as multiple-code identification secure batch coding and high-speed inline authentication.
