<i>Packaging Summit Expo</i> and <i>Conference 2007</i> intensifies Contract Packaging objectives
Last May’s Packaging Summit 2006 (held May 16-18, 2006 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois) was a great success, bringing packaging’s leaders together in one venue specializing in contract packaging solutions, containers and materials innovations as well as an outstanding educational conference program.
As part of the Packaging Summit Packaging Services Expo showcased leading providers in contract packaging and services solutions. Some of the foremost exhibitors included: Algus Packaging Eltrex Industries HP Lansmont Corporation Sugar Foods Corporation JacobsonWilpak and many others.
The conference program included a “Directions in Contract Packaging” track which kicked off with a Contract Packaging roundtable that analyzed how leading companies utilize Contract Packaging services for increased value and more efficient output.
The roundtable drew more than 200 attendees many of whom participated in spirited discussion with representatives from Bacardi Global Bath & Body Works/Victoria’s Secret Spectrum Brands and Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co. Also included in the conference’s Contract Packaging track was P&G’s Contract Packaging strategies including challenges opportunities and future drivers.
