The $11 was collected at the Packaging Hall of Fame ceremonies Sept. 26 2005 at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel held in conjunction with Pack Expo Las Vegas.

“The funds raised by the September [Hall of Fame] induction ceremonies along with the [monies from the dissolution of the] Packaging Education Forum will represent a substantial share of the cost of the project” says Bruce Harte PhD professor MSU School of Packaging. He says construction on the memorial may begin this spring. For more information contact the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute at 703/243-8555 or visit www.pmmi.org.
