Lithotech (Scarsborough, Ontario, Canada) has introduced the 38 Special(TM), a new style of 24-pack for 12-oz bottles that has built-in handles for easy carrying.

The new case is designed to hold four six-pack basket carriers. Bottles are stacked in three levels of eight. This configuration is said to be 25% narrower than conventional 24-pack cases and lets beer marketers achieve a larger shelf facing than 4x6 packs. The corrugated structure includes an outer liner offset printed in up to six colors.
