Art nouveau design
For the second year in a row, Andy Powell, an artist represented by Scott Hull Associates (Dayton, OH), has created a dynamic piece of artwork to decorate bottles of 2001 Beringer Nouveau red table wine.

With the help of Kimiko Chan Design (San Francisco CA) Powell created a label that captures the exuberant flavorful nature of the wine and also represents the harvest and the wine’s autumn release.
The artist used media such as acrylic paint and collage techniques to diversify the label’s appearance. Deep rich colors coincide with the wine’s autumn harvest theme. “There’s something appealing and almost magical about the culture and feel of wine. It’s truly a privilege to make this culture come to life” Powell says. The label is offset-printed in six colors.
