Joe Angel is Vice President/Publisher of Packaging World and a founding partner of Summit Publishing Company, established in August 1993, (now Summit Media Group, Inc.) He has over two decades of experience in the packaging press and serves on the board of the Clemson University Department of Packaging Science and The Dean's Executive Council for Purdue University Calumet School of Technology. He is also a member of the Institute of Packaging Professionals, the Business Marketing Association, American Business Media and is active in the Chicago Area Publisher's Group.

Pat Reynolds has been a packaging journalist since 1983. He was part of the small group who launched Packaging World in 1993, and he was named VP/Editor of the magazine in 2002. Pat's career has taken him to countless packaging operations, technical conferences, and converting plants, not only across the U.S., but internationally as well. Pat holds a B.A. in English from the University of Illinois, an M.A. in English from University of Wisconsin, and an M.A. in Anglo-Irish Literature from University College Dublin.

With 27 years of trade journalism experience, 22 covering the packaging function, Jim Butschli brings a wealth of knowledge to his position as Features Editor with Packaging World. Jim reports on packaging news, applications, developments, and strategies, visiting numerous packaging operations around the globe to develop case history articles that describe how consumer packaged goods companies employ and benefit from packaging machinery and materials. Jim is also the Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Packaging, a position he’s held since the publication’s inception. In this role, he reports on issues, trends, and developments as they relate to the packaging of pharmaceutical, biologic, medical device and nutraceutical products.

Anne Marie Mohan has been with Summit Media Group since 2007, where she is Senior Editor for Packaging World. In addition to her position with PW, she is Managing Editor of GreenerPackage.com and Editor of Packaging World's package design brand, Shelf Impact! A Chicago native, Anne Marie earned her degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. After graduation, she worked briefly as a reporter with the Ottawa Daily Times newspaper in Ottawa, IL. Her first foray into the business-to-business press was with U.S. Glass, Metal & Glazing magazine. From there she moved to Innes Publishing, as the editor of Instant & Small Commercial Printer and In-Plant Printer. From 2000 until joining Summit Media Group, she worked at Reed Business Information as a senior editor for Packaging Digest, where she specialized in covering trends in package manufacturing, smart and active packaging, RFID and sustainability, among other topics.

Iris Zavala began her career with Packaging World in June 2000 as Production Editor. In 2001 she was promoted to Managing Editor where her duties include overseeing pre- and post-production work and managing the flow of art and editorial. She also coordinates several monthly departments, and edits and posts editorial items on Packaging World's website. Prior to joining Summit, Iris was employed by Penton Media, where she was managing editor for HPAC Engineering Magazine. Earlier career responsibilities involved magazine management, sales, production, copy editing and design.
