Pack Expo video coverage: Air cushion inflating system

Content Type Image FP International's (Redwood City, CA) Novus C air cushion packaging system inflates preconfigured, low-density polyethylene film in four different air cushion shapes at speeds to 70 fpm. The four different cushion configurations can be used for void fill, blocking and bracing, corner cushioning, or as a replacement for traditional bubble material. The preconfigured film is stored deflated on a roll, saving space compared to premade air cushions and bubble packaging.

Content Type Image PACK EXPO WEB EXCLUSIVE: Robert's Packaging is showing its IMFS 1500 intermittent motion fill/seal packager at its booth, S-444, at Pack Expo International 2004. Stand-up pouch system automatically fills and seals premade standup/zipper style bags. Machine accommodates a minimum pouch size of 4"" W x 6"" H x 1"" gusset through a maximum pouch size of 12"" W x 15"" H with a maximum gusset of 5"". A complete size changeover can be performed in approximately 15 min. Benefits include a compact footprint, increased flexibility, and an economical price. Machine is built on the same construction criteria as Robert's C-Series continuous motion systems.
